Overall value for money! Cheap and central location! I’ve stayed at this hotel on a few occasions now for work purposes, and my experience has varied slightly depending on the room. Most of the beds have been very comfortable, though I did once have a mattress that felt a bit too firm. The rooms and bathrooms have always been clean, which I really appreciate. There have been a couple of minor issues with amenities — for example, a shower door that wouldn’t close properly on one visit, and curtains with holes in them on another. These weren’t major problems but worth noting. The staff on reception have always been friendly and polite, which makes a positive difference. The main issue I’ve consistently experienced, however, is noise. While I understand this isn’t entirely the hotel’s fault, some guests can be inconsiderate, speaking or laughing loudly in the corridors late at night. I think the hotel could help by putting up reminders around the property to encourage guests to be mindful of noise, which would go a long way toward improving the overall experience.
Stayed one night recently. Great location, lots going on locally. Hotel is a bit of a maze but our room (overlooking the road at the front) was great. Clean and comfortable. Would stay here again of the price was right.
A real bang for the buck! Friendly staff, convenient location plus a clean and spacious room. It looked like someone had tried to force the door of the room I was staying in. The locking mechanism was loose, and the door required pressure to fit into the frame. Because of the single layer windows, the room was noisy. Overall, I'd stay here again!
Clean rooms (bit small) hot showers, clean towels and bed linen. Brilliant location, friendly staff. Great value for money.

Bathroom light was like being at a rave, strobed and flickered for about 5 mins before working properly. About 2 pumps left in the shower gel too. But can you really complain for the price? Perfect location on Castle Street is great for anyone wanting to see Liverpool's sights. Friendly and attentive staff, pretty comfy beds and reasonably sized rooms. Would definitely return.
Great stay, super basic for one night. You get what you pay for double bed, shower and a desk. Stayed for a concert, got to keep my bags there for me to go shopping, staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is like a Maze lifts and stairs everywhere. Good luck after a few drinks ha! All it all very good would stay again.
This hotel is Perfect for location, short stay- Stayed for 1 x Night, Room was clean, bed comfy with toilet & shower. Room doesnt have a kettle or do breakfast but no need when there are so many cafes, restaurants on the same street. Reception 24 hour & so friendly where you can get drinks at the front desk or pack a travel kettle. Was given discount for the parking as long as you park in Ncp- Vernon street which again is a short 5-10 min walk. This was a nice touch as it saved so much on parking too. Only negative but we found it funny- To find your room is a bit of a maze as so many doors corridors to go down, but who cares.... Location 10/10.!!!
